Recently I drove up to a hill station in my car. When we hit Fog I realized that my headlights were totally messed up. Left one was going right and up and the right one going left down. The two beams kind of crisscrossed about 6ft in front of the car. This was the time I realized it’s time to change the headlights.

If the bulb is operated at a lower temperature, this process of depositing back the tungsten may not happen, so it is recommended to run the bulb on full power once in a while. It’s definitely consuming much power and also the output is not very efficient.
